My grade and I started doing a Australia state project. we have to first get three people in a group, then you pick a state from Australia. whe you and your group picked your state you have to draw the state and then stick a piece of coloured paper behind it and then cut around it. when you done all that you have to find were rivers and places on the state and draw it on the state. After you did all the places one of the three gose on the computer and find facts like landmarks, explores, population, size, ect. when you did all that you have to past it on the state and colour it or you can copy that picture and draw it on the state . then when were all done we stick all the states together and it will look like a big Australian map. My group and I are doing NSW. we all have to find facts about it and we got heeps, we even made a model of the Sydney opra house and the Sydney habour bridge.when we got all of our infromation we stuck it on the state and we coloured them in . our state looks very colourful. we have heeps of facts and its hard were to put them.my friends and I have learned alot from this activity, like when captin cook explored NSW and ect. the activity was very fun and we almost finished ours and I hope it will look great. my group was the only group that was finished. one group was finished that was tasmani. when we finished we had to help one group called Western Australia. there's is almost finished thanks to our help.With Western Australia it was alittle hard because they had all these facts like 6 pages.Then that person finialy printed those pages and there going great.Queensland needs alot of workbut there going ok.Queensland started off slow and going no were but then they worked hard and started going somewhere there almopst finished.Victoria group are going ok they still need a bit of infomation. they had to stick a piece of paper behind it because it wouldnt fit, but know they have this big of paper thats empty.they need to get more facts. every group has finaly finished there state.there all colourful,pictures and facts.when we all finished we got a giant paper and stuck the states together. it was kind of hard to stuk the states together because they got facts hanging from the side but we managed.when did all that it looked great you can see everything. but now theres a hard part, we had to try to hang it near the window, but because its too big, we had to think of another idea.someone thought of haning it on the white bord and it worked out perfectly .finaly finished that project.
